I would caution anyone to judge the whole of hockey parents by the worst examples. Not all are indignant with rage over the new regulations, and I think a lot accept that the goal here is to get the kids back on the ice without putting their health at risk.
It would take a special kind to be upset that the Province and sanctioning bodies (Hockey Manitoba, etc) want their children to be safe.
You always get the conspiracy nuts, or those that are just uninformed on the science and the seriousness of COVID-19 (for example, quoting WHO articles that are over a year old).
Personally, I think re-opening sports is a mistake, but I don't have skin in the game, so it's hard to argue with the passion. First priority, as always, should be safety.
