Inter-country adoption

Hi everyone,
This is my first discussion. My husband and I are currently looking into inter-country adoption and I was just looking for some advice. We haven't decided which company we should go through, or which country we should try. We would prefer to only make one trip and only for a max of 2-3 weeks.
So if anyone has gone through this process already, and can give us any tips or help I would really appreciate it.
