Young Grandmas Prayer
Let grandma bathe you slower...
than I had bathed your mom.
lets take our time.
It was always a rush rush, before her turn was done
I want to take it slow this time around to
see you smile and splash
You can splash granny if you want.
Let me play with you on the rug to watch you squirm and turn
I love watching you grow
and wish we could slow that part down.
not cause that would make me old,
cause I' am a young grandma
and that’s what I'am
I'm here to you tickle you
chase you around the yard outback
while you learn to walk
after you've learned to run
God" I hope he sends me the energy
Funny I don't feel very old, aren't grandma's suppose to be old?
I often hold you and think of your mommy
She was just as cute with deep brown eyes
I want..to learn great cookie recipes
one special one just for,
Let me remember stories to tell you
of your moms playful youth.
her amazing one
and her mischievous two's
and her unagreeing three's
her unfolding drawers, I mean four's
Let Grandma keep you safe when you are near me in my care
Let me teach you to love alike
I will ask for the patience once again
The energy to outrun you at least until I' am 44
through all our play together
love, laughing and play...
something your mom taught me
Grandma Loves You Hairy
Love me, Grandma
