14 year old wants to work

My 14 year old daughter wants to get a job in Brandon. Maybe only one or two days a week. I'm a little leery about it and i really don't' think that many employers would hire a 14 year old. Has anyone had any experience with this? How did it work out? What was the procedure? Any idea on business that may be open to this? Thanks
