We took the kids to McD's playland for supper. It was a lot of fun until some kids started getting really snakey, chasing each other and knocking other kids over! One older girl (maybe 7?) pushed my daughter into a chair to get where she was going, not on purpose, but it was totally reckless. I'm all for kids having fun, but this is a pretty confined space we're talking about here! I finally started shouting at these kids "Hey hey, let's all slow down just a bit before one of you gets hurt!" It's the second time I've been there where that's happened and I'm the only parent brave (or dumb) enough to say something to make these kids slow down. What would you guys do? I'm not talking about making them quiet, I mean, come on, it's playland! But they could at least have parents willing to tell their kids "Go ahead and have fun, but for cryin' out loud, don't hurt anyone!" Am I totally out of whack here?
