Special Needs...in education

I do not share the following view.
This was posted on another thread.

Lets dabble on the costs of "housing" some of the "special needs" kids in the main stream system. The education system has become a day care for some kids who would be better served in another setting. The one on one supervision would be eleminated .....helping the education budget, allowing concentration in the quality of education our kids receive.
