Day-care / Day-Nanny / Day-home

We're looking for something for my daughter for Jan/09. We're on a waiting list for Fuzzy Bears but not sure how if that will turn out. A few friends suggested trying to find a day-nanny, has anyone heard of people that do this in brandon?
Any suggestions on other places?
