Looking for recommendations, good reviews and bad on all the different travel systems out there. There are so many options out there that I'm finding myself overwhelmed. I know I'm not really interested in a jogging stroller... more like something simple and compact yet durable and comfortable for baby. Willing to spend up to $450 if I have to. Thanks in advance from one lost mommy to be.

A big fan of the peg perego SIP Primo Viaggo car seat. Easily adjustable, straps don't twist. But between that and the corresponding stroller you will likely go quite a bit over your budget. One piece of advice I received was buy a stroller with a food/drink tray in front, and one solid handle bar is better than two separate. Also make sure the fold up mechanism is simple and not multiple steps. Larger wheels ideal if you are wanting to use it outside.

I had never heard of that brand. My budget is more of a preference than anything so I will look into it anyway. Thanks!

We have a City Select. Works excellent on all kinds of terrain. Can get lots of accessories for it. Also can make into a double stroller and if you have another older child you can get a boogie board for the back for them to stand on. Many adapters for a variety of seats. Folds up mostly flat and the back wheels pop off easily for completely flat transport.

I have a GT3 stroller and a primo viaggio car seat with base that I would consider selling. Excellent quality and as mentioned the shoulder straps do not tangle and so easy to install.

Its a jogger but we have had no trouble. It got us through the first year in the car seat and still using the stroller now.  
When we wanted something smaller we bought a $20 fold up but our baby was strong enough to support himself by then.
