Looking to buy some dress up clothes for my nephews ( 5 1/2 and 4 year old). Value Village's prices have gotten a bit high for something like this. Anyone know where to look for dress up clothes? Anyone looking to sell some lol?

If you are ever driving through a small town (like hamiota or birtle) they have thrift stores that have better prices, otherwise wait around again for garage sales to pop up again in the spring?

MCC is having a birthday, and tomorrow is pretty much everything 50-70% off! When they had a day like that in September I got some smokin' deals! Try there!  
 
Also, I find VV has decent prices on the "thrifty costumes". I do buy dress up clothes for my kids from that selection. Example: Cat in the Hat Hat for $1.50 the other day. You just have a dig sometimes and know where they have stuff scattered around the store.

You could try the MCC Thrift Store downtown on Pacific, I find their prices to be very reasonable. Also, if you're in Brandon the United Way annual garage sale is on at the Keystone Centre on Saturday, October 29 from 9 am - 3 pm. With it being right before Halloween, some people might have some costumes for sale at garage sale prices.

Nearly New across from SuperStore-they are both charitable orgs with good prices. Money raised at the Nearly New goes to the Brandon Hospital which is always a plus. MCC goes to international and disaster aid, also a good cause.

After halloween go to walmart and buy leftover costumes I think they are usually 75% off.
