I need enough maple syrup for maple taffee for 180!

Alright eBrandon, I need your help!
I think it would be really cool if I could make maple snow taffee at the school I teach at for their winter carnival. I have made it before, but only in small quantities.
How much maple syrup do you think I would need to give each student the opportunity to taste maple taffee?
And, more importantly does anyone know someone that I could get MB Maple syrup from? I refuse to walk into a grocery store and pay $12 for a teeny-tiny bottle.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
