Did anyone else just see the meteor/fireball? About 5 min ago it was visible NE of Brandon. Saw it while walking near 13th and Victoria.

I saw something where I am 9 miles south of Brandon. It was to the north east. Maybe a flare?

I was in the house watching TV and saw it out our NE facing window. It looked so close! We live a few miles SW of Kemnay, so clearly it was quite far if you saw it NE of you in Brandon too. Crazy! I wonder where it landed...

Must have been quite far. I heard the soundwave nearly a minute after viewing it.

yes, I saw it. was leaving my daughter's house on springland road just north of Rivers. Was at the stop sign when the whole interior of my car lit up.It was so bright I ducked my head, go figure. I really thought someone had pulled up behind me and then I saw the huge green fireball in the sky.scared me silly.

People in Winnipeg are talking on twitter about seeing a fireball/meteor/flash N/NW of town just after 11PM.

Did anyone see a fireball (large meteor) burn up in the southern sky of Saskatchewan at 11:11pm CST 31MAR2016? Any photo?

Would've been well into zzzzzing by that point... Times like these a guy wishes dash cams were more popular in this part of the world but maybe someone has even a few seconds from a security cam that'll make its way to Youtube for the rest of us.

Any other reports of hearing a sound in this area? Curious what you'd compare what you heard to.

saw a bright flash

For about 5-6 seconds. I was on Highway 10 N near the Rapid City turn off around midnight. It seemed to cover a vast area but was concentrated above my vehicle. It was very interesting to say the least.

We have no north facing windows.. missed it .

Yep about 23.30 tracking N/E falling for about 4 secs bright white ball with tail then disappeared I'm 2 hrs North of Brandon

meteor was like only the size of a small pebble when it entered the Earth's atmosphere.

in minnedosa around 12:10am when i was letting my dogs in... thought i was seein things.. it lasted about 6 secs

There seems to be some time conflicts in the reported sightings,( I've accounted for the sk sightings too), was there possibly 2 last night?

I was wondering that as well, if there were two different ones. When I saw it, it was definitely just after midnight, but there are multiple people saying 11:30...

Sorry a little late joining in, I was woke up after 12 by a loud boom, everything seemed ok,figured I was dreaming and went back to sleep but our son told us in the morning he heard it as well. Sounded alot like a sonic boom, we're located sw of Elgin. Any idea which way it was tracking?
