Pete Antonation-Band info ??

Being an avid garage-saler,I bought an old 78 rpm RCA Victor disc recorder,but it also came with some memorabilia & info that it had belonged to Pete Antonation.
His music was gospel-themed,& his band may still exist according to my internet search,although he is apparently deceased.
I am wondering if anyone knows more about his band(name,era,location,etc.)or if any relatives are in this area.
I had planned to give it to my nephew who is a vinyl collector/musician,but now think it may be of interest to family or band members.
