I'm not sure about the other venues, but I was hosting a TV program at Houston's for both nights of the WCMA's, and I have to say, on Friday night at least, I was embarrassed.  
 
People in Brandon always complain about nothing going on in the city, then this happens, and on Friday night there were probably all of 30 people in the crowd at Houston's. I talked to all of the artists after their performances and felt the need to apologize for the poor showing. No one came out to partake in this awesome event, and now it is incredibly unlikely that any of these awesome acts will ever think twice about coming back to Brandon.  
 
So why did no one want to come to Houston's to watch the performances?
