I know its a little early, and this topic usually gets alot of people wound up but its always fun to start laying out some bands we want to see at this years music festivals.  
 
Just a quick story but something very familiar happened the other day just like last year where I think I know the first couple bands coming to Rock on the Range. Last year I wanted to see Rise Against so bad, so when they announced their Canadian tour they were hitting all the Canadian cities in May and June except Winnipeg for some reason. I was wondering what the heck that was about! But anways I ended up buying tickets for the Saskatoon show because I was going to see them no matter how far I had to drive! Low and behold, about a month after those dates were released, Rock and the Range Winnipeg announced their line up and there was Rise Against and Rancid who were touring together!  
 
Now this year once again, I really want to see Breaking Benjamin, who are on tour with Nickelback and Shinedown. They just announced their Canadian tour the other day and once again, every main city in Canada is listed EXCEPT Winnipeg. This is once again very strange..Something tells me they are either signed for Rock on the Range or Xfest. Most likely Rock on the Range which is fine with me.  
 
Anyways, that was my quick story and think what you will. Also if you go to the Rock on the Range Canada website it is playing the new Alice in Chains song in the backround...maybe a possible hint?
