Need a Instrument fixed! Need some advice!

I was given a Flute not to long ago... I have been looking for one forever! The thing is the notes don't change when I press down on the keys! I think I just need a spring fixed or my pads changed. But I have no clue really where I should go who's better with price and service or where any of these stores are! Would love some advice on what i should do.
