I read online that the US is targeting university students for music downloading. They are asking to settle out of court for a $3000 fee. I think it is amazing what the recording industry is trying to do. What if I bought a CD and lent it to 10 of my close friends. Does that warrent me getting charged? What are other people's thoughts on music sharing. For me as long as I am not making money on it I see no problem. There has been times when I download a band and then end up going to a concert. Without listening to them first I would have never gone. Artists make the money off concerts.
