Hey was reading in the brandon sun today about the Grand Beach site going up for auction. Wouldn't this be the perfect spot for next years xfest? Beef - you said you wanted a better location this might be your calling. There is alot more room, camping is awesome, you could draw on the crowds of Winnipeg to come so you would have no problem getting bigger bands. One sad thing though is they tried the classic rock bands and it flopped so I think the new music approach that xfest is taking will succeed. I went there for the first Summerfest they had and it totally rocked. I'd definately go back. It would be much better seeing a band like Buck Cherry on a large stage like that than the one that was at turtle crossing this year. No offence beef - just an observation.
