Hope you’re keeping well in this crazy rock n roll world and that this finds you on top of that world or at least at the top of your game! You’re receiving this as I attempt to continue promotions for Stepping On Mars. Sometimes when you’re slogging away in a group you can get the feeling nobody really gives a stink which is why once in awhile we'll reach out to friends and acquaintences to ask their opinion. That's why it's a beautiful thing when we can utilize the services of websites such as eBrandon to spread the word! With that, here is the latest update regarding Brandon's most mysterious garage band, "Stepping On Mars."  
 
Some of you may have received an email from me in the past stating that we were chosen as the buzz track of the day by Garageband.com. That to us was big news and a much needed feather in our cap. It truly was a big vote of confidence as the people who rate and review songs on that site are generally musicians themselves.  
 
This time around as I wave the “Mars” promotional flag, we have some bigger news. In fact this can be considered “Wow factor” big news. Garageband dot com has bestowed upon us, the honor of having the Groove Rock Track of the Week for our song “Crystal”! That’s right among dozens of bands from all over the world, little ole’ us from here in Western Manitoba have the Groove Track of the week on this popular music site that’s renowned all over the globe and revered as one of the best by independent artists the world over! Thanks for your continued support of “Stepping On Mars” and be sure to circle Friday, July 11th on your calendar as that’s when we’ll be hitting the stage, cranking the amps and launching into action at Clancy’s (11th & Princess Ave. Brandon) for our CD Release Party as we get set to drop “Landing Party” on the masses. Before then we’ll be doing a set at Brandon’s summer fair, Friday, June 6th at 9pm. The band stage will be set up on the West side of the midway right beside Westman Place south of the ramp. We hope to see you there!
