I just wanted to create a place to share our favorite traditions, or even just memories of maybe a special gift/act of kindness we received during the holidays. I know I have a quite a few and am always looking for new ideas of traditions that can be implemented to make the holidays more fun....  
Ex: -Giving dated ornamnets to kids every year.  
-PLacing baby Jesus in the manger only on Christmas eve  
-Driving around to look at Christmas lights on Christmas eve.  
-=Going to midnight mass on Christmas eve  
 
There is one gift that stands out to me from my childhood. I dont have it anymore although I sure wish I did. Its funny how things stand out in ones mind. I will never forget the year that I received the Precious Moments Magnetic Mansion (if anyone has one of these or knows someone who does please let me know LOL). I played with that toy every day for years. It wasnt something I asked for and I know now it would have been way out of my parents budget but my eyes lit up. The best part of that gift was our whole family working to put it together :-)
