New Years

Am not sure where I should be posting this, but I am just wondering what is all going on for New Years? My brothers friends are coming up to Brandon, and they want me to bring them tickets when I go back home.. I suggested Houstons.... Soooo questions are:
1. Where do you get tickets for Houston's New Years party? Do I have to go to Houstons on the weekend or do they sell them somewhere else in town?
2. Are there any better suggestions for New Years, and if so do I need tickets and where do I get them?
