Merry Christmas vs. Happy Holidays

Forgive us, this controversy rears its head every year around this time. But Tyler has started saying "Happy Holidays" and have had people actually take some offence to it. Is it OK to go with the generic, non-denominational "Happy Holidays" or should you say "Merry Christmas?"
Pastor Robert Jeffress thinks it should be the latter and he feels so strongly about it that he's created GrinchAlert.com to call out those businesses that are wishing people "Happy Holidays."
