paying it forward...

has anyone seen or heard of some great pay it forward examples this holiday season? i personally had someone pay for me at tim hortons and the cashier said she was told to say "happy holidays".
a friend of mine was late for a exam and forgot to pay for her parking at the university. someone put a note on her windshield that said "i paid for your parking so you wouldnt get a ticket. merry christmas. pay it forward..."
has anyone else done/heard of these things being done lately? we need more people like this!
