Stay at home moms...or women who have the option to stay home

I'm 30(ish), married with children, relatively new to Brandon and know a handful of people. Not looking for an argument: only perhaps some positive feedback and/or suggestions.
Aside from the usual cleaning the house, shopping, paying the bills, making meals and tending to the children... (Yes I know all of what I said is a full day) I'd just like to know what other women do when they have free time or perhaps a day to themselves? (especially those who don't have children) Doesn't talking on the phone or starring at 4 walls get to you after a while? I find Brandon a difficult place to meet new people.
