Hi there,

Need some documents notarized. Does anyone have any experience with an affordable Notary Public here in Brandon?? I've read some old threads but nothing definitive came out of those discussions. Thanks in advance

you can get a signature by attending the courthouse. There was no charge when we needed papers witnessed.

Thanks for that advice but I think notarizing a document is a little bit different than that. You have to be an official Notary Public to notarize.

A Commissioner for Oaths can witness documents that stay within the Province of Manitoba.

A Notary Public can sign documents that can be sent outside of Manitoba. Most lawyers are notaries just pick one. They all charge basically the same fee.
