I just started a local moving box rental business in Brandon that will drop off high quality plastic boxes for you at your current place and pick them up after you have moved and emptied them at your new place. Pricing and quantity of boxes is on my website: www.betterboxes.org

When I moved a few years ago, Brandon Bearing Ag & Industrial Supply loaded me up with all the boxes I wanted/needed, and didn't want a dime for them- they were there to take, and were going to be tossed otherwise.

I'd give them a call, and see if this is still something they do.

Grocery stores

When I move I use banana boxes from grocery stores! They are usually happy to give them away for free! Co-op usually has lots, sobey’s, Safeway, Walmart as well!

If you live in Brandon, I would check the recycling bins at the Keystone Centre (off between 13th and 15th Street) Richmond Avenue entrance from time to time.

I see brand new heavy duty boxes (depending on the day of week), clean boxes. It is worth a drive by and many are sitting on top for the taking if need be. Sometimes they are just boxes from dry goods just dropped off from a truck.

Just a thought.

lots near the door going out for taking away.

Staples have some but you need to ask.

I would imagine lots of grocery stores or other businesses have them too if you ask.

I was just at Value Village in Brandon and they have a bunch of cardboard boxes by the exit doors

If you ask the managers at Wendy’s I’m sure they’d be happy to put a bunch aside for you. They go through a lot when their truck comes in.
