I am interested in purchasing a tiny home however I have no idea where to begin. Are there any companies in or around Brandon that sells them? Has anyone ever purchased one, and if so, what has been your experience with a tiny home?

I like the idea of a tiny home. I think I saw an ad for ikea starting to sell tiny homes. In this ad, a woman gave sound advice about what you need to know before buying a tiny home. Purchasing part is easy. It’s where are planning to park it that seems to be a challenge. Some places have restrictions as far as square footage (a minimum that a tiny house doesn’t uphold) this also in regards to plumbing/sewage and electrical hookups. I think you have to contact city officials in terms of zoning by-laws and requirements when it comes to tiny homes

There is a tiny home park, in the 200 block of Glen Avenue. Just behind Value Village. There are a few homes on the site and I believe at least one has a for sale sign.  
The site is not on google maps yet so you will have to drive up there to see it. This park was the creation of Kenny Choy. Not sure if he still manages it.

that the only thing that gets me about these homes in parking. its like all the apartment complex in Brandon don't have covered parking. like we live in a place that get 40 below and have some wild summer weather were are you suppose to keep your car

Cars are designed to be driven outside. They're fine parked outside too lol. It seems counterproductive to worry about a house for your car if one is seriously contemplating a tiny house.  
 
I looked at the website for the ones on Glen Ave. They have had ads in the Brandon Sun recently that piqued my curiosity. They range from 500 to 900 square feet!!! That doesn't seem like a "tiny house" in the way we use the term these days. But they are maybe that size to comply with minimum square footage requirements for the city?

Does anyone know the aprox prices on the Glendale homes?

They range in price from $153,000 to $210,000. 550 ft to 920 ft

These aren't what you would get if you googled "tiny home". The homes on Glen Avenue are full building, fire, plumbing and energy code compliant homes, whereas tiny homes are not.

I guess they're not being marketed as "tiny homes", but as a "pocket neighbourhood". It's a related but somewhat different concept.  
 
Keeping that in mind, maybe a small 1 bed house in this development would fit the OP's needs? It certainly seems to avoid some of the pitfalls of chassis-based tiny homes etc.
