you choose to use, and I have used lard to infill the scratches before, make sure you only work from the centre outwards in a straight line to the edge, NOT in a circular motion,
This is because the data is encoded on the disc in a spiral like an ordinary record. If you polish/buff around or along you risk destroying greater amounts of data.
