Just curious about Hiking in the brandon hills? I have never been out there in the winter months. Only BIked out there during the summer.  
 
Can you still go hiking out at the brandon hills right now? is it to wet out there? Are there better alternatives just as close to brandon?

If you are on Facebook, join the Westman Trails Association page. People do hike out there all year. Trails are groomed for skiing, and walking is done BESIDE the ski tracks - be mindful that many hours go into grooming the ski trails, and any activity ON the tracks ruins all that work.  
A week ago, there was a post that said "I hiked in Brandon Hills yesterday was pretty good i thought. fat bikes have trails nicely packed not too icy."

I was there Friday. The trails are all well packed but a bit icy. Not all of the trails have ski tracks on them. Only the A B C loop does.
