I was adopted 30 years ago from The Pas. Once I turned 18 I registered with the adoption agency from Winnipeg. My adoption was very private and not much information was provided at all. About 3 years ago I had received a letter from the Winnipeg adoption register giving me first names and ages of my birth family. I have a sister who is 5 years older than myself and my parents names were Larry and Thelma. I feel that there is a huge part of me missing and would love to be able to for fill that missing void in my life.  
 
I am wondering If anyone has found their birth family even tho it was a private adoption and how they did it? How can you get your medical records?
