crime stoppers fundraising coupons?

I had someone knock on my door yesterday saying they were selling coupon books for $25 as a fundraiser for crime stoppers.
I emailed and tried to phone crime stoppers Manitoba to confirm but didn't get an email back nor a return call.
Can anyone confirm this fundraiser? I believe in the cause but just want to be sure it's legitimate. Unfortunately there are so many scams these days.
I noticed the coupon for FUN N' GAMES said "valid until July 2015" which is what got me questioning.

According to the Journal, Crime Stoppers are in fact doing this fundraiser again this year. From the link below:

Expiry date for fun n games is a misprint the guy said no one noticed till it was already printed but that it is valid for 2016!!!

Thank you for the confirmation, bought 1. The coupons are well worth it (Wendy's, Joe beeverz, blu, booster juice, Montana's,tutti frutti, fabutan, dominos, the dock, Brandon photographics, fun n' games) and the cause a good one

got mine at the superstore, they were sitting outside the exit doors. Maybe call superstore and ask when they will be there again or just pop by.

Sorry thought you meant the whole coupon book.

The coupon books can not be purchased directly from Crime Stoppers or the city police. Your best bet is to ask if anyone who's purchased the coupon book has the name of the salesperson on their booklet and you can give them a call. Or buy one off someone who purchased one. They are a good deal but are sold for a limited time.
