What is with all the birds in the sky? It's like an Alfred Hitchcock movie!!!

Southeast...was thinking same thing.

Dog sure loved going to the Keystone grounds last night and giving them all a what-for!

What kind of birds they are, sometimes swallows get ready to leave around this time of year.

They look like some sort of gull. 2 tones of brown from what I could tell.

I'm not the only one that saw them & thought it was creepy!

Okay, so glad I'm not crazy! The only thing I can think of is maybe they're from the far north on migration and decided to make a stopover for a few days. I'm noticing some other seasonal birds are starting to show up.

I'm just wondering if they are terns, we haven't has asuch rain as on the last few years and pot holes may be drying up and they may also be getting ready to leave, saw my first Sandhill cranes today so we know that fall is on it's way.

Tons and tons of seagulls at the south end lot of the Keystone tonight!

There were so many that I had to grab my camera. There was a huge flock of them a couple of weeks ago and I'm not sure what's drawing them (in the south end.)

And asked the same thing. She's got tons of them in her yard and it was freaking her out a little.

do gulls migrate? the usual million seagulls at work have left a few days ago.

I am also wondering if they could be terns. Do they have a black head?  
 
I know these showed up about this time years ago. They stopped by to eat all of the tent caterpillar moths. They loved swooping over the trees especially. Because of this, they were a welcome sight and I am grateful for their presence!  
 
I wonder if they could be eating hornets and the like too. They have been plentiful this year. Anyone have any observations about possible attractants that you won't miss?

gulls have been hanging around my neighborhood too. We are a new development in the south end and not many trees. So they hang around on the rooftops. It is kind of freaky to see them lined up there. Gives my cat a good taste though. And funny to hear her teeth chatter together as she thinks about getting them.

We're out this evening and noticed an unusual amount of gulls or something in the keystone grounds as we drove by...my son was really amazed.....and so was I!

they seem smaller then sea gulls. ..... I couldn't get a good picture of them with my cell phone . but have been watching them . and tried to figure out what they are
