cloud based system is well worth the $10 a month. phone, computer and tablet. keeps track of everything even links to your bank account and separates payments and expenses. www.quickbooks.com

if you are just needing something for invoicing and not full accounting, I would recommend Freshbooks or Wave - both free and online. They are full accounting programs.

I would strongly suggest staying away from Freshbooks. Their platform is terrible. You will spend more time trying to navigate their archaic user interface than actually making invoices.

Wave is available for mobile. Quick books cloud is alright, but not worth the monthly fee. Their support is the worst, wave does everything I needed for free.
