Today went to look at half a duplex 3 of us were going to rent $1400.00 a month you step in the first thing that hits you is musty smell , mould smell , things falling apart , no screens etc, It's just so wrong that places like this can even be rented out . We did not take it .

I too have been viewing rental properties, and I''ve noticed the following (just as a reply to your post):  
 
- One place was severely run down, but were asking top dollar for rent.  
 
- I email/text/call & leave a message and no one ever replies. I would think it would be a "professional" courtesy to reply even if the place is no longer available, but that''s just me I guess.  
 
- Some places do not warrant the high rent costs (extremely small units that don''t cover extras).  
 
However, I also know that Brandon is particular to certain things (high rental costs, nobody knowing what a blinker is used for, 'clicky' and hard to make friendships that last, etc. lmao).  
 
Sorry to rant - just sometimes have to get it off my chest and I can go about my day feeling better knowing I had a chance to vent.
