Im looking for advice or any information, guidance into a batlle with cfs thats going on in my life. The child is not mine but my uncles who just passed last month. she was staying with the babies momma sister for the last few months because the babies momma is a troubled lady. After my uncle passed his sisters have been fighting tooth and nail for this little girl playing rather dirty. last friday 2 of my aunts recieved custody of the little girl after cfs called the cops who took the little girl after basically breaking down this womens door to get her. So cfs never did a background check on the leaser of the house where she was placed. The leaser is a 30 yearold alcoholic who sits in the basement and drinks and does drugs all day long. He has people frequent the house that inject morphine and smoke all kinds of other drugs and has brought prostitues over. How is snatching a 3 year old little girl whos already been threw so much and placing her in an unstable enviroment like that right? Am i crazy what is wrong with this world. The women they took her from doesnt drink doesnt do drugs and the place this child in a house like that, makes me sick to my stomach. has anyone out there ever had to deal with cfs and what have you done,,, im completley lost.

I've dealt with cfs. And 9 times out of ten when a child is removed there is a large part of the story, normally non compliance, left out of the sob story.
