Was hoping someone would know of any local (Westman) area companies who are willing to take on Class 1A, with air endorsemnt, drivers for training. I am aware of the MPI program but was hoping to check out other options. Thank you for any information.

There used to be a couple, not sure if they still do or how good it is but renaissance and Paul's did at one point I think  
There's vm transport in minnedosa that does but I don't recommend there at all. But sometimes you just have to take what's available. Good luck and happy trucking

We just did our Air Brakes with my company and worked with United Trucking. If you search them online you will speak to a Laura and she will book you into a course in Brandon.... Ken was our instructor and he is EXCELLENT!!!! Very Very professional and does a great job. 3 of us took the course and 3 of us passed.

I guess I didn't post that correctly. I already have the 1A license as well as the air endorsement. I am looking for in cab training now. I am good to go in a truck, just need training.

Get your resume with a drivers abstract and take a drive to winnipeg. A few hours wandering around inkster industrial park will let you talk to a few dozen companies. Nobody will come looking for you. You need to decide if you want to pull vans or deck also. Another option is potato farmers or construction companies. Also, take a wander up to the Husky and grab the truck magazines and look at the ads and start making phone calls to recruiters.

do you mean you have the actual license or a learners? if its a learners i would still go to united for in cab training but if you are meaning job training or you are looking for OTR(over the road)training then just get applying

1A= class 1 authorized.. learners.  
 
I never thought about United for in cab training. Ill look it up. Thanks.
