Migraines & daith piercing anyone had this done to relieve your migraines ?

I have both sides done and haven't had a migraine since.  
I had mine done at Adams Body Art in Brandon. He can make gorgeous custom jewelry so you have something a little different than the same ring everyone else has.

I have a male friend with migraines do you know any males that have had the piercing & did it work for them ?

It's mostly women I've seen. But honestly- it's worth a shot for him to see if it works

I'm getting mine both done this fall. I have had the same headache since 1994

There is lots of anecdotal evidence out there about these piercings and headaches/ migraines. However, there are currently no studies that show proven effect, and no neurologists who recommend them as treatment.

Don't really need studies and neurologists recommendations.  
 
Word of mouth can be just as good when you are suffering migraine's, you will try anything. I have heard of a few people having this done and working for them.

Neurologists wouldn't recommend breathing atmospheric air, because no one has done a peer-reviewed study deeming it safe.  
 
I say go for it, and I second the recommendation of going to Adam. He's a real talented mensch.

Neurologists seem to only believe in pharmaceutical migraine relief. At least the one I have seen in Brandon does....the minute I mentioned that physiotherapy helped my pain more than his meds did, he pretty much refused to see me any longer.  
 
I get many migraines that even physio doesn't help, so I am still looking for relief.  
 
I plan on seeing Adam in the near future. I figure if it does nothing for my headaches, I either keep the bling or take it out. Seems like a no brainer.

I work with a guy that has both ears done. I haven't asked him yet whether it works for him or not.

At Warlock, the girl there is amazing- barely hurt.  
 
I had really bad cluster migraines before hand and took meds at least 3-4 times per week.  
 
Since March I have had a handful of Migraines and significantly less severe.  
 
Obviously I can't say whether it's science or placebo... but it doesn't matter because it works!

I got mine almost a year ago and was getting migraines weekly  
 
I've had a couple small headaches but nothing compared to what I was getting
