As Adam mentioned previously, the S. J. McKee archives website link posted above is an excellent place to start. There are so many interesting photos in the McKee Archives.

Additional resources for historical Brandon Photos include the local Hillman website. It takes a bit of time navigating the website if you are looking for something specific, but is an interesting collection of many old photos of Brandon; Brandon photos, BMHC (Brandon Mental Health Centre) photos, CPR Pics, Mayors of Brandon, Clear Lake memories, Strathclair also has a section. Rivers Air Base memories and SO much more. Be sure to scroll through the entire home page to see what's there, as it is a very large website and fun to look at. It's worth a visit for anyone interested in Brandon and area history. The Brandon section has many galleries to view. Bill Hillman, the webmaster, is also very receptive as well in adding vintage photos, postcards, collections, mementos, etc. that anyone may want to share on the website.

Another good resource for specific searches would be the Manitoba Historical Society. There is a search bar top right which can narrow down 'Brandon' or specific information required on any particular historical events, people, buildings, etc. The webmaster there - Gordon Goldsborough is also very receptive and enthusiastic in receiving information on Manitoba history

Another resource if you have any questions is a very active public Facebook Page entitled 'Brandon Manitoba - Remembered'. All kinds of local history buffs chiming in with old memories, photos and questions. It is a public site and might be accessible to view for those not on Facebook. If not on FB, Google: Brandon Manitoba - Remembered Facebook and you can go from there.
For non-photos and anyone interested in looking up neighborhoods or address of certain areas of Brandon from 1906 - 1955, this website includes the Henderson Directories of Brandon. For anyone unfamiliar, the annual Henderson Directory was a basic resource (pre-internet) to find out where people and businesses were located and what residents did for a living. It's a great genealogy/history buff reference and a good snapshot of the City in any given year. It's another website that takes a bit of navigation, but is interesting.

I hope this helps.
