Dinsdale Park and First Street Bridge

There was an earlier thread about finding old tiles near Dinsdale Park, on the north end of the First Street Bridge. There used to be a number of homes there. My grandparents, the Nackoneys, lived there, and some neighbours. My grandmother''s first husband, John Kowal, was accidentally asphyxiated at the CPR in 1917, just after the big train crash, and my grandmother received a settlement and a fair bit of land there. She then remarried and had my mother''s family. They had a lot of gardens. I wonder if anyone familiar with the area the way it was then (from 1920s to about 1960) could tell us more. Pictures would be wonderful if you could contact me.
