This is a recent occurrence although there have been other instances in the past of AP promoting false news. I don't mean to criticize all news in this instance (thats for another post), but its important to understand where our news comes from. Places like Reuters and AP act like supply stations to CBC, BBC, CBS, CNN, FOX and every other news source you can name, be it newspapers, magazines, or radio. Every time they don't do their job properly you should be a little suspicious about anything you hear from mainstream media.
