I know I'm tackling big issues here but I have been going nuts with this in my head so I have to get it out here and maybe you can help me reach a conclusion.  
 
Moms. Dads. You think about your childrens future right? You worry when you see all the stuff going on, no? I often do.  
 
Rewind about one year ago, when I heard an expert say (on a O-show when talking about sewers, garbage in our world)IT IS INEVITABLE that what u flush down the toilet, WILL get mixed with YOUR drinking water at some point(s).  
 
From that point on, I HAVE NOT used Lysol or any of those destructive cleaner's with the Warning/Poison right on the front lable...i use other good for environment cleaners like method or vinegar/baking soda that I would RATHER have mix with my drinking water if it must!  
Yet each time I go down that dreaded aisle in any store, there they are! Rows and rows of em! WHY ARE THEY STILL THERE?  
 
When we are noticing glaciers disappearing at alarming rates and safe drinking water could disappear in our grandchildren's life-time, why isn't our governments & everyone else's focus on our future and the people living here THEN? What's with all this self-gratification living krap?  
 
The selfish attitude of just about anyone I know is typical of a program I overheard my partner watching yesterday, about how the Swiss Alps are really being altered, drastically, and all the swiss are having to do to prevent this from happening even more rapidly, even TARPING snow/glaciers! and after 15 mins of this report the guy says...Stay with us! cuz when we come back we're going to Geneva where we'll watch the biggest boldest firework display you've ever witnessed! Should be great!  
WHAT? So I u think I wanna stay to continue watching our ozone layer blasted into oblivion one MORE time! It felt like a horror movie!  
 
If he'd been standing next to me I would've done the coulda-had-a-V8 smack on his head! In fact I feel like doing that smack on EVERYONE who's not doing anything to change the way we've always lived!  
 
ISN'T IT TIME to change our life-styles & thinking and attitude? From being SOO DARN focused on our self-gratification, to thinking & CARING about what our children have to deal with in later years.  
 
Remember when dangerous chemicals were found in our plastic baby bottles a short while ago in 2008? I was in Walmart when that entire section was E M P T Y. They had to get rid of it all.  
 
TWO WEEKS LATER, Enfamil, Playtex, Nuby plus all the others, had guess what? up on the shelf?  
 
ALL NEW INVENTIONS WERE UP ON THAT DARN SHELF. SAFE Inventions!  
 
WHY? Cuz they HAD to. And trust me! If this HAVE-TO was slapped on each and every PERSON who brings& pumps out a PRODUCT that harms the environment, PEOPLE would HAVE-TO adapt.  
 
We have since the stone-ages, so don't give me rules and it can't be done because so and so and this and this and cost and whatever! I don't care to hear it!  
 
Just tell me what your doing to help, and what we can all do more of.  
 
Gee this has me so riled up. Tell me, am I off on the wrong planet?  
 
Why isn't Harper on my side? Why is he aiding companies to not adapt? Why aren't people getting IT?
