Toronto-Pearson airport gets regular A380 service

Toronto will become the first city in Canada to get regular service from a super jumbo, double decker Airbus A380 aircraft, capable of carrying 490 people.
The A380 will be used by Emirates Airlines on their nonstop Dubai-Toronto route. Emirates already flies the route, but will upgrade to A380 aircraft on June 1st of this year. Currently the A380 is only used in the world's largest cities like New York, Tokyo, London, Paris, L.A. and Sydney. This is a big tip of the hat to Toronto and to Canada!
It's amazing that this can happen when the economy is so rocky, but this proves that the Canadian economy isn't doing as badly as some are saying.
I wonder if mayor Dave is still working on getting some air service to Brandon Airport???
