I've been following this over the last week or so and it appears that they haven't ruled out terrorism in this crash, stating that names on the passenger list were known for links to terrorism.  
 
However, it seems far more likely that Air France may have dropped a ball in taking too long to get new pitot speed sensors installed and tested.

This is just so sad. They've pulled less than a quarter of the bodies from the ocean so far and at this point I'm not sure how likely it will be for them to find them all.
