Former head of Pakistan's ISI Interviewed

Seems like virtually all the important news on Afghanistan and the region comes through Al Jazeera alone. They have an interview up with Hamid Gul, the former head of Pakistan's ISI, their equivalent to the CIA. The full interview can be found here:

Hamid Gul has always openly supported the Taliban and has a lot of influence and power in Pakistan still. Some of the really key quotes here though really illustrate how important it is to keep the guys in his circles out of power in Pakistan.
As far as al-Qaeda is concerned, I simply say come up with the evidence for 911...
In my opinion, all this is a gimmick, an inside job.
In regards to the Taliban, I support their cause of Afghan resistance. I lend them my moral support because I have in the past had strong connections with them.
The Pakistani Taliban are being sponsored by the Indian intelligence and the Mossad...
So Al-Qaeda wasn't behind 9/11, and not only that, but Israel and India, the two biggest boogeymen among Pakistani muslims are behind the Pakistani Taliban's attack on Pakistan's civilians.
To put that in a proper context Pakistani journalist Hamid Mir, the only man to have interviewed Bin Laden since 9/11, has regularly referenced the popularity of conspiracy theories in the middle east that blame 9/11 on the Mossad as well. He follows up by noting that Bin Laden was very eager to provide conclusive proof to Mir that he planned and coordinated the attacks.
Pakistan's former ISI head is very strongly fighting for and supporting exactly the kind of terrorists we went to Afghanistan to fight. He's also very eloquent and speaks in a lot of half truths, which makes him even more dangerous.
I hope this interests at least somebody else out there, it's certainly very important to our Afghan mission and the results of our policies there and not something any of our networks here seem the least bit interested in talking about.
