Too much of a good thing---Long time members will remember my qualms on ethanol--while the science was fuzzy and it may be zero sum as energy put in to what we get out--it was the scale of it enen Manitoba would need to imput corn from the USA to meet our blend targets. Plus using food stocks like corn really irked me when people are starving. Well they are rioting in Mexico so the news says. the poor can not afford the corn they need(guess who gets it!) If you fix one problem without thinking it through crap happens. The new ban on incadecent bulbs--Ya I am sure they will figure out how to make sure 100 percent of all humans dispose of the toxic burnt out bulbs of the replacements. Then today---100 percent of newyork cabs and 100 percent of BC cabs are forced to be 100 percent Hybrid-- There is reason that 80 percent of newyork cabbies run crown Vics---you will not like what they will and can do to a hybrid and possibly its reputation and you can bet safe disposal of the battery packs after 33.000 km lifespan will be not high on the list.
