Just to give folks further basis for discussion, can you perhaps expand on what you found interesting and/or learned that you didn't know previously ?

This gives a clear visual of the devastation that has taken place in a city roughly the size of Winnipeg.  
 
It leads to a better appreciation of the circumstances these people have dealt with and a better understanding of the desperation they are living with.  
 
Their lives will never be the same.  

Watched the video and read a bunch of comments, sort of had to agree with the idea that a straight flight across the whole city would have presented a better and maybe a more convincing picture of the situation. Some of these cities,in different countries, have experienced horrific devastation over quite a period of time, some is city wide and some is localized in certain parts of the cities, regardless of that fact it is easy to understand why ordinary people would want to get out of the cities. Whether it is a civil war,or a war between nations, civilians do decide to flee at a certain point.

I'm getting pretty tired of the way headlines are skewed against Europe.  
 
The devastation in that city has nothing to with Europe, why link the two in the headline.  
 
Europe has opened so many borders to so many people, giving so much. Yet the middle east countries nearby never get called out in media for taking few.  
 
Too often Europe is portrayed as the enemy rather than those who actually attack and destroy the cities. It's crazy.

Agree. Just think of Europe as a lifeboat. At some point,if people keep climbing into the lifeboat, the lifeboat will sink. The people in the boat have realized that their boat is very close to sinking.
