Obama crosses delegate mark
6/3/2008 at 9:21 PM
It looks like Barack Obama has crossed the delegate "finish line" to become the Democratic Presidential nominee.
In a contest so close and so controversial, I won't be surprised if there are a lot of hard feelings and some infighting within the Democratic party over the Michigan and Florida issues. The rules were layed down at the start but a lot of voters there feel cheated. What a historic primary though! I'm interested to see what Hillary will do now... a well fought battle on both sides.
So now there is the first African-American presidential candidate in history on the democrat side, and a decorated and respected vietnam war vet and former POW on the Republican side.
Because of the hell the Bush and put that country through in the last four years i'd like to think the Obama will take it no problem but I know that it won't be easy. The word slinging is just getting started.
Any predictions on how things are going to end up in November in the McCain vs. Obama contest?
