I would really appreciate some advise on the best place to get a large quantity of soil for the lawn and planters. In the past we have purchased from a local business and found it was full of quack grass and we are still fighting it.... I'm thinking a mix of soil , manure and peat moss or something similar would be best?? I'm not an expert by any means, just what I was thinking.. suggestions very welcome! Thank you.

I'm wanting probably 2-3 yards and thought they only sold in the bags?

Use potting mix, either bagged, or homemade. Straight topsoil in a planter will not drain properly, and the plant roots will get water-logged and angry.
