Artificial light
8/5/2020 at 10:10 AM
I'm brand new to gardening and have no prior experience ( I'm 27 ) .. I bought an artificial light because I purchased some indoor succulents and started noticing right away that they're not getting enough light. They sit in the north facing window as my other windows arent big enough to put them in... so I bought a white led grow light and have placed it on my table... it's 50 watts. My question, is how far away should it be from my plants? I had them about 12-15 inches away but last night I read 6 inches is good.
Is there too close with led lights?
And is there any additional information anyone's willing to share with me?? All that I have right now are succulents. Some jelly beans, hens and chicks, donkey tail, aloe and a Christmas cactus!
