Hi! I'm generally impatient and not a very good gardener, but I am very curious and I love natural things, so when I saw these plants (or rather, smelled them first), they made me curious.  
 
These plants are in the flower beds in front of the curved wall of windows on the library (the darkened glass that is one-way-ish).  
 
What are they? They have such an odd smell, almost like a spice and they have small flowers on the top of some taller stalks.  
 
I'm really curious (they are kind of charming little scraggly plants), so it would be great if someone who knows about gardening/plants could inform me as to what they might be.
