and I have to wonder - why will grass grow in my flower beds, but not in my lawn??
If pretty flowers like roses, etc grew like weeds, would we hate them and try to pull them all out too??
Why did I plant delphiniums under the 3 foot overhang of my bi-level....... and now they are so pretty I don't want to get rid of them, even if they ARE falling down.
Why can I get NOTHING to grow in one of my flower beds?? The shrubs do well there....... and I think there is a ladybug nest in it somewhere because there are a LOT of ladybugs there all the time - which I kind of like.
I need serious help - I'm such a crappy gardener......
Someone tell me what to plant - I like perennials - I don't like having to spend hundreds of dollars every year re-planting.
I would like something that is good in part sun/shade and it hard to kill - even in times of drought (that would be me going a week or so in between waterings)
Maybe I should plant cacti......
